Brandon Scherff Vs Leonard Williams

I can still remember watching the 2015 NFL Draft and when defensive lineman Leonard Williams was still on the board at the number five pick I was certain the Washington Redskins would select him.  However, instead of Williams they took offensive guard Brandon Scherff.

It made sense that the Redskins would want to bolster their offensive line but Williams was thought by some as the best player in the draft.  Now the two might face off against each other as the Redskins take on the Jets on Sunday.

Williams starts at defensive end for the Jets in the 3-4 defense and Scherff starts at right guard for the Redskins offense.  Which one will get the better of the other on the plays the face off?  Hopefully Scherff comes out on top.

However, the rest of the Redskins O-line needs to step up as well.  The Jets defensive line has more than just Leonard Williams.  Muhammad Wilkerson is having a good year and the Jets get back Sheldon Richardson off of suspension this week.

With Ty Nsekhe starting at left tackle in place of the injured Trent Williams, you can bet the Jets will attack him relentlessly.
