Trending Up: Bashaud Breeland, CB
The Washington Redskins cornerbacks have been hit hard by injuries so far this season. Both starters are out with injuries in DeAngelo Hall and Chris Culliver and even Bashaud Breeland dealt with a knee injury himself during the preseason.
But now that Breeland is healthy, his play has picked up as of late after he struggled in week three on the road against the New York Giants. Against the Philadelphia Eagles in week four, Breeland had a solid game and did a good job in pass coverage.

That trend continued against the Atlanta Falcons as Breeland recorded his first interception of the season and even made a nice return after the pick. Breeland looked confident in coverage going up against the Falcons’ Julio Jones.
With question marks still surrounding whether or not Culliver will play against the Jets, the Redskins will need another good performance from Breeland in covering their top wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
