Morgan Moses had a season of highs and lows in 2014.  He started out behind both Tyler Polumbus and Tom Compton at right tackle and then he got a shot to show what he could do at left tackle when Trent Williams went down with an injury in week 10.

Moses performed well against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and things were looking up but then the following week he was taken to school by the San Franciso 49ers pass rushers.  Moses’ season came to an end a few weeks later when he suffered a Lisfranc injury.

But so far in training camp Moses is looking like a player who is benefitting from a year of experience under his belt.  While rookie right tackle Brandon Scherff is taking his lumps early on, Moses appears to be stepping it up a notch.

While it’s still expected that Scherff will start at right tackle, at the Redskins will have some good depth behind him and Williams in Morgan Moses.  The better developed he becomes in camp and the preseason, the better prepared he’ll be in the regular season when his number is called.
