The Washington Redskins and GM Scot McCloughan would love to trade down and acquire additional picks in the 2015 NFL Draft. Currently they own the fifth pick in the first round. Trading down from that spot could add multiple picks in the first three rounds of the draft.

A focus of trading down could be to rebuild the offensive line. The Redskins signed many players to the defensive side of the ball but mostly ignored the offense. There are players such as Marcus Mariota, Amari Cooper, Kevin White and Leonard Williams who may entice a team to trade up to the fifth spot.

It is important that the Redskins rank the entire draft regardless of position so they know who they will choose if they trade down in the first round as well as to make their picks in the following rounds. McCloughan has made it be known that he believes in drafting the best player available regardless of position and he will stick to his draft board.
