2011 – Patrick Peterson, CB – Arizona Cardinals

Patrick Peterson has developed into one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL.  He came in drawing comparisons to Deion Sanders and early on he made a case to live up to that comparison, especially as a punt returner.

Peterson had 4 punt returns for a touchdown during his rookie season of 2011 and he had a total of 9 interceptions in his first two seasons with the Cardinals.  He’s been a two-time all-pro and been selected to four pro bowls.

Grade: A – Patrick Peterson has lived to being a to five draft pick and become a star in the NFL and he should give the Cardinals a great presence at cornerback for the foreseeable future.

Next: 2010 - Eric Berry, SS - Kansas City Chiefs
