6.  Quarterback

The Redskins have made it clear that they have an interest in drafting quarterback Marcus Mariota.  And if he’s on the board at the fifth pick the Redskins will either take him or trade down to get more draft picks.  They’ve also shown an interest in other quarterbacks as well.

Robert Griffin III struggled with injuries and inconsistency all last season, and those are issues he needs to overcome heading into next season as he’s been named the starting quarterback.  Kirk Cousins struggled with turnovers and handling pressure at critical moments in games.

Colt McCoy had some good moments, but can he be counted on to become more than a just backup?  Even if one emerges, the Redskins will need to add more talent at the position.  RGIII has one more season to prove himself, as does Kirk Cousins.

Even though Colt McCoy has re-signed with the Redskins, I still expect them to draft a quarterback to develop at some point in the 2015 NFL Draft.  LW # 7
