4. Running Back
The Redskins already have one of the most consistent runners in the NFL over the past three seasons in Alfred Morris. However, Redskins head coach Jay Gruden has stated that he hopes to add a running back from the deep pool in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The third down back from last season Roy Helu has signed as a free agent with the Oakland Raiders and this opens up a spot that needs to be filled. They still have Chris Thompson and Silas Redd and they should be in the mix for more playing time.
But Thompson is often injured and Redd while showing in limited touches that he has talent, can’t be absolutely penciled in as the man for the job. The Redskins recently re-signed Michael Hill who ended the season on the practice squad.
So the Redskins have more depth but they will need to draft a running back to come in and add to the Redskins options out of the backfield. LW # 4
