The defensive line is no longer a top priority after signing DE Stephen Paea, NT Terrance Knighton and DE Ricky Jean-Francois. Youth is still needed and a future superstar such as DE Leonard Williams would be an easy pick for McCloughan.
Williams is the only defensive lineman worthy of picking at #5. but there are a few other intriguing prospects if the Redskins trade down to the 2nd half of the 1st round.
Arik Armstead, Malcolm Brown, Danny Shelton, Eddie Goldman and Jordan Phillips are all possible picks depending on how far the Redskins trade down. McCloughan has been known to prefer big guys in the draft.
