2015 NFL Scouting Combine:   2/17/15 – 2/23/15 – NFL Network

Defensive backs – Work out on 2/23/15

2.  Cody Prewitt, FS – Ole Miss – (6-2, 217) Projected Round – 2.  Cody Prewitt has outstanding size for a safety and that’s one of the top assets he brings to the table.  He can match up well with tight ends and big receivers.  Prewitt can use that size to deliver hard hits and he can also cover distance well with his long length.

What to Watch for?  3-cone drill and his 40-yard dash.  Being a bigger safety has it’s advantages but also it’s disadvantages.  Cody Prewitt has to show that he has the speed and agility to go along with his size.  The 3-cone drill will show how good his change of direction skills are and the 40 will show what type of speed he has in coverage.
