Jarvis Jenkins, DE
Jarvis Jenkins had a very good season defending the run. His pass rush was almost non-existent. Jenkins had 0 sacks and 4 QB hurries on the season. In 4 years Jenkins has only 2 total sacks.
Jenkins shows no will or skill in rushing the passer
Jenkins scored a 0.67 rating versus Philadelphia and a 0.96 rating against the Cowboys. His run defense scored a 0.83 rating against the Eagles and a 1.13 rating versus Dallas.
Jenkins shows no will or skill in rushing the passer. There will be a team that values his run defense and offer him a decent contract. I don’t think the Redskins will be that team.
If Jenkins leaves in free agency, the Redskins will have a hole to fill. They may not find a player as good against the run but can easily find one with more pass rush ability.
