East-West Shrine game: 1/17/15 – 4:00 pm – NFL Network

Players to Watch – Linebackers

14.  Tony Washington, OLB – Oregon (West)  (6-3, 250) Proj. Rd. – 4th.  – Jersey # 19

15.  James Vaughters, OLB- Stanford (West) – (6-2, 255) Proj. Rd. – 6th. – Jersey # 55

16.  Bryce Hager, ILB – Baylor (West) – (6-2, 230) Proj. Rd. – 6th-7th. – Jersey # 44

17.  Jermauria Rasco, OLB – LSU (East) – (6-3, 252) Proj. Rd. – 6th-7th. – Jersey # 59

The Redskins don’t have a lot of depth at outside linebacker.  Ryan Kerrigan has emerged as a top pass rusher and Trent Murphy had a sold rookie year.  But Brian Orakpo more than likely won’t be back, so the Redskins will need to add more depth this position.

That might be addressed at the top of the draft with the number five pick, but if it isn’t then one of these players might be a future Redskins.  Oregon’s Tony Washington boosted his stock by performing well in the College Football Playoffs, and James Vaughters is another good prospect out of Stanford.

Bryce Hager could add more depth at inside linebacker and Jermauria Rasco is raw, but could turn into a solid pass rusher at OLB.
