East-West Shrine game: 1/17/15 – 4:00 pm – NFL Network

Players to Watch – The Defensive Linemen

11.  Chucky Hunter, DT – TCU (West) – (6-1, 305) Proj. Round – 5th. –Jersey #96

12.  Travis Raciti, DE – San Jose St. (West) – (6-5, 285) Proj. Rd. – 5th-6th. – Jersey # 93

13.  Xavier Williams, DT – North. Iowa (West) – (6-2, 308) Proj. Rd. – 6th. – Jersey # 98

The Redskins need to add more youth and play making ability on their defensive line.  They have solid linemen, but most are past their prime.  So an injection of young talent is needed.  This game features an assortment of big young defensive linemen the Redskins might get to chose from in the draft.

TCU’s Chucky Hunter doesn’t really fit the 3-4 size profile for a defensive lineman, but he’s simply a very good football player, and will help any team that takes him.  Travis Raciti has more of the 3-4 DE type of size you look for, and Xavier Williams has the frame to grow into a 3-4 nose tackle at some point.
