New Washington Redskins GM, Scot McCloughan has a daunting job ahead of him. There are holes that need fixing all through the Redskins roster. The task as I see it, starts with the offensive line.
The starting lineup remained mostly intact throughout most of the 16 game regular season. The only real change came at RT where Tom Compton started in place of Tyler Polumbus, starting the final 9 games. Compton was an up grade but not a great enough change to make a difference for the Redskins.
I found it amazing that with all of the struggles of their offensive line, no other changes were made. This led me to study the film of the Redskins offensive line in their final 2 games in preparation for this article. One game was a thrilling win to knock the Philadelphia Eagles out of the playoffs and the other a humiliating defeat versus the Dallas Cowboys.
