5. Mike Nolan, defensive coordinator – Atlanta Falcons  –  Nolan was at one time the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers and was even defensive coordinator with the Redskins before under Norv Turner.  He’s also been defensive coordinator for the Jets, Ravens, and Dolphins, and is currently the DC for the Atlanta Falcons.

However, Falcons head coach Mike Smith is on the hot seat, and may be fired when there season ends.  So Mike Nolan might be available.  He knows the 3-4 defense, and has plenty of experience.  The Falcons defense has never really had the personnel necessary for Nolan to be successful there, but that might change with the Washington Redskins.
