Sugar Bowl:  Alabama vs. Ohio State – 1/1/15 – 8:30 pm – ESPN

Players to Watch

2.  Amari Cooper, WR – Alabama – (6-1, 210) Projected Round – Top 10.   The Washington Redskins led by DeSean Jackson has a very good and deep wide receiving unit already.  So they don’t really have a huge need to use their number five pick on a wide receiver.

However, Alabama’s Amari Cooper is the top wide receiving prospect in the draft, so the Redskins will at least need to take a good long look at him before they dismiss taking him.  Also, a team might want to trade up with the Redskins in order to draft him, so they need to know as much about him as possible.

Cooper has good size and speed, but first and foremost he’s a tremendous route runner and has great hands.      Jersey # 9
