After upsetting the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys Monday night, the Washington Redskins look to extend their two-game winning streak when they take on the Minnesota Vikings Sunday.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III will return to the field after missing the last six games with a dislocated ankle. The Redskins went 2-4 during his absence, as both Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy each had their stints under center.

The Redskins (3-5) and Vikings (3-5) find themselves in similar predicaments; both are just a few wins away from getting back in the playoff picture. Minnesota, like Washington, is coming off an overtime victory, and looking to get themselves on a winning streak of their own.

Getting to 4-5 improves both teams’ chances of making a postseason push, a lot more than dropping to 3-6 does.
