4.  Can the Redskins defense slow down Rashad Jennings

The Washington Redskins are currently ranked third in the NFL defensively against the run and they held the Philadelphia Eagles dangerous duo of LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles to a combined 42 yards rushing on 21 carries on the road in week 3.

And now on Thursday they’ll need to contend with Giants running back Rashad Jennings who is coming off of a 176 yard rushing performance against the Houston Texans defense.  But then again the Redskins also had an easy time running on the Texans also in week 1 and the Texans are ranked 25th in the NFL at stopping the run.

So logic suggest the Redskins will be a much tougher adversary for Jennings and the Giants to try to run against.  However, Rashad Jennings is a good running back so watch for how effective the Redskins defense is at stopping him.  If they can slow him down then play-action for Eli Manning will be less effective.               Redskins vs. Giants
