5.  The Redskins offensive line vs. the Giants defensive line

On 48 pass attempts by Kirk Cousins the Redskins offensive line didn’t give up a single sack on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.  However, the New York Giants defensive line is a bit more talented than the Eagles are up front so the Redskins O-line will need to step it up even more to keep Kirk Cousins’ uniform clean.

More from Commanders News

The marquee name for the Giants is defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and he will be going one on one with the Redskins left tackle Trent Williams.  Keep a close watch on this matchup as it may be pivotal if quarterback Kirk Cousins is to get the time necessary to find the open receivers.

Also, The Giants defensive tackles Cullen Jenkins and Johnathan Hankins are very stout in the middle so watch for how the Redskins interior linemen led by center Kory Lichtensteiger perform against their size and pressure in order to create running lanes for Alfred Morris and Roy Helu.
