The Redskins have two defensive linemen out due to injuries this week in nose tackle Barry Cofield and his backup Kedric Golston. And I think that depth will pay off for them in this situation. Defensive end Jarvis Jenkins was a backup to start the season but he’s capable of stepping into the starting lineup and making an impact now. Chris Baker will slide over to nose tackle and should be effective there having played there before.
Plus Jason Hatcher was one of the Redskins top free agent signings so he will be a factor. Now the Redskins will need reserves Clifton Geathers and Frank Kearse to pick up where they left off in the preseason with solid contributions.
