3.  Redskins secondary vs. the Jaguars young receivers

Last week against the Texans the Redskins secondary played well against the pass for the most part except for one big play to receiver DeAndre Hopkins that came off a blown coverage and a missed tackle.  And while the Jaguars don’t have a star like Andre Johnson to defend they do have some talent at wide receiver.

One player who stood out in particular for them was rookie wide receiver Allen Hurns who scored 2 TD’s against the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Jaguars also have two other rookies at wide receiver in Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson who will have to step up if Cecil Shorts is unable to play.

So the Redskins secondary can’t underestimate this group like the Eagles did and I don’t think they will.  But it will be interesting to see how effective the Redskins secondary will be and if they can improve on the mistakes against the Texans.
