The Top 32 Redskins of 2014:

Rob Jackson

Outside Linebacker, Washington Redskins

Jackson re-signed with the Redskins during the offseason after testing the free agent market, and this will be his seventh season with the team.  Jackson has been a reliable backup, and has filled in as a starter when needed at outside linebacker.  He’s very good in pass coverage, and poses a solid threat as a pass rusher.  However, the Redskins have some young lions at the position in rookie Trent Murphy, and second year man Brandon Jenkins.  So Jackson will need to have a great training camp and pre-season to hold off their challenge.

Jarvis Jenkins

Defensive End, Washington Redskins

When he was drafted Jarvis Jenkins was expected to be a major catalyst in the Redskins 3-4 defense.  However, he has yet to reach the expectations the team had for him, and now he’s in a fight for a roster spot and playing time.  Jenkins showed some ability late last season, and if that trend continues he could push to start.  But he needs to have a great training camp and preseason to solidify his spot on the team.
