Now that New York is once again facing Washington, Riggo’s Rag was fortunate enough to guest blog on the New York Times official NFL blog “The Fifth Down.” You can read what we had to say here.
Someone NEEDS to make sure Strahan isn’t let anywhere near Fed Ex Field. THIS…
…must never happen again.
Hail Redskins!

For the first time in his illustrious 11 year career, London Fletcher the heart of the Skins defense my actually miss a game. London is the true IronMan as he has played 171 straight games at the linebacker slot. He is currently bothered by a foot injury that has held him out of practice all week. Things don’t look good for Sunday’s game against the Giants but don’t count out the IronMan just yet. Many Skins fans would argue that Clinton Portis is the heart of the offense and if he can fight through his injuries and play I see [...]

Just a little something to kill the time while we savor our Seahawks victory and prepare to eat Turkey. You can see the entire article here on KSK but I had to at least share the McNabb one.

Well it was fun while it lasted. Just in case you were in a cave with your fingers stuck in your ears, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Redskins last Sunday night. The Redskins defense couldn’t stop Barber when they really needed to. The offense couldn’t get any consistancy. The Redskins secondary decided to actually cover the receivers instead of giving them a 10 yard cushion. It’s almost as if they looked at the first game and made adjustments or something!
Yes, Clinton Portis was playing hurt, but he WAS playing. The Redskins were at home and had a lead. Both [...]

Oops, this promotion might be a little late but better late then never. According to ESPN 980, the first 50,000 fans on Sunday night will receive an official Redskins rally rag (yea we love the name). By now we all know what happened during the Steelers game, but let’s just put that behind us. My question is how many of those first 50,000 will be Cowboys fans? Let’s hope it is not a lot because all they will do is throw the towel away.
I am confident for this Sunday night, we will show the world what kind of fans we [...]

I don’t mean to add insult to injury but it seems the Redskins got more than just DeAngelo Hall from the Raiders. If you go back and decipher the trade between Atlanta and Oakland this past off-season you will see that the Raiders gave up a 5th and a 2nd round pick for Mr. Hall. Flash forward to draft day when the Redskins traded out of the 21st pick with Atlanta for two 2nd rounders. Well it turns out that pick was used on rookie Devin Thomas. What does that all mean? Well the Skins now have Hall and Thomas [...]

Pending a physical, it would seem that DeAngelo Hall is about to become a Redskin. The 24 year old cornerback has had a terrible year in Oakland, but then again who hasn’t had a terrible year in Oakland? The contract is reportedly short term, lasting only for the remainder of this year and only pays him the pro-rated amount of the 1 million he would have gotten this year (excluding the massive signing bonus) had he not been cut. This means that for under a half million we get a former two-time 24 year old pro-bowler who’s also good at returning [...]

The Redskins plan on inducting the late Sean Taylor into the Ring of Fame, an honor he truly deserved. As we approach the one year anniversary of his death I often think about what could have been. The kid had so much potential and too see it get washed away by a bunch of thugs really gets me angry, but this isn’t about that, this is about honoring Sean. The ceremony will take place at Fed Ex Field on November 30th at 1pm against the New York Giants. As we prepare for this ceremony I thought [...]
