6 games the Commanders must win on 2024 NFL schedule

Commanders at Cardinals - Week 4
Kliff Kingsbury might have revenge on his mind when the Washington Commanders face the team that fired him after the 2022 season. His four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals were hardly a rip-roaring success, but he did have a hand in developing 2019 top pick Kyler Murray.
A similar challenge awaits Kingsbury with Jayden Daniels. Their rapport will be key to the Commanders' chances of a quick turnaround.
If Kingsbury and Daniels click, Washington's offense could be electric. Yet, if there's a repeat of the tension evident between Kingsbury and Murray, the fireworks will be the wrong kind.
Seeing Murray again should stoke the competitive fires within Kingsbury. Whatever their differences, the signal-caller played some of his best football on Kingsbury's watch, including being named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year before going to a pair of Pro Bowls.
The Commanders have the right weapons around Daniels for Kingsbury to work his magic again. Targets like Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, and Zach Ertz, along with running back Austin Ekeler.
This quartet is loaded enough to exploit a Cardinals' defense that leaked the second-most points in the league last season. Crafting a plan for his new-look unit to put on a show in the desert will prove Kingsbury didn't run out of ideas in Arizona.
He was just getting warmed up.
