Commanders can take a chance on Noah Fant
He hasn't quite lived up to the billing as the 20th player taken in the 2019 NFL Draft, but Noah Fant has star potential in the right offense. He's a big body who can stretch defenses across the middle of the field and make tough catches.
One of those gutsy grabs came against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.

It was one of the best plays of a season during which Fant averaged 12.9 yards per reception for the Seattle Seahawks. That's an impressive tally borne from his deceptive speed and ability to get behind coverage.
This quality, diving catch against the Dallas Cowboys showcased Fant's flair for a big play.

Fant has also missed just one game in three seasons. He's durable but needs to be more consistent. An increased workload would help, something the Washington Commanders could offer, along with mentorship from a proven commodity like Zach Ertz.
As a 26-year-old who still has plenty of upside, Fant wouldn't exactly be a bargain signing. Not with a market value projected by Spotrac.com to be $6.2 million annually for two years.
Fortunately, there's one hidden gem who represents excellent value.
