Commanders win their first playoff game since 2005

Given all the offensive weapons and the creativity of Eric Bieniemy's offense, this team has a chance to be special. As long as the offensive line can keep Sam Howell on his feet, the Washington Commanders can finish 10-7 and sneak into the Wild Card conversation.

This will be the season that the Commanders overcome the odds and win its first playoff game in 18 years. In a perfect world, at least.

Cole Turner will be the Commanders' top TE

Although Logan Thomas has shined during his time on the field this offseason, his nagging injury concerns mean another tight end will need to step up this year. That is going to be Cole Turner.

The former Nevada standout will hopefully emerge as Howell's security blanket in the middle of the field. If the Commanders get more than 600 receiving yards out of the second-year-pro, the better their chances will be.

Commanders OL will find the right formula

As has been the case since Ron Rivera took over as head coach, the team has still not done enough to improve the offensive line. Bringing in Andrew Wylie and Nick Gates is great, but it doesn't really push the needle much.

The offensive line can't get much worse than it was last year, but with a lack of depth, 1-2 injuries will lead to the team having to shuffle across multiple variations on the line in the hope of finding the correct formula.
