Round Three

O’Cyrus Torrence, Offensive Guard, Florida

If you’re driving through Gainesville anytime soon and spot a 6-5, 345 pound behemoth, it’s just O’Cyrus Torrence – a talented guard for the Gators.  He was a starter for Louisiana-Lafayette for three seasons and transferred to Florida for 2022.  The quality SEC competition has solidified his standing as one of the best inside linemen in the 2023 draft.  Washington will need new players on the inside and Torrence is one to watch.

Round Three (Compensatory Pick)

***Trade***

Washington trades their 2023 compensatory pick and adds early fourth and fifth-round selections.

Round Four

Habakkuk Baldonado, Defensive End, Pittsburgh

Hailing from Rome, Italy, Habakkuk Baldonado is a graduate student after playing in just one game in his true freshman season.  He has steadily improved each year and is a good middle round prospect.  With the uncertainty of Montez Sweat’s future and current defensive end James Smith-Williams running hot and cold each week, Baldonado is a solid pick here.

Camerun Peoples, Running Back, Appalachian State

We featured Camerun Peoples in our first mock recently and he returns once again as a prospect in the fourth round.  Small college gems litter the college landscape and Peoples is a big, bruising back that will shine as a relief rusher and short yardage specialist.  He can also be a spot starter if other players are injured long-term or just for a few plays or one half of a game.
