2. McLaurin finishes fifth in receiving yards

If McLaurin’s making the Pro Bowl in the loaded NFC he’s going to have to post incredible numbers. Luckily for the fourth-year pro, Carson Wenz is by far the best quarterback he’s had in his career. In 2021, Wentz helped Michael Pittman, a sophomore, post 88 catches for 1,082 yards and six touchdowns.

Pittman’s 1,082 yards finished eighth in the AFC and would’ve ranked ninth in the NFC. While Pittman is a stud, McLaurin managed 87 catches for 1,118 yards and four touchdowns the previous season with a revolving door at QB.

That yardage total was good for eighth in the NFC. With Wentz under center, it’s reasonable to assume McLaurin will have his best season to date. Again, the NFL is loaded with upper-echelon wideouts so it won’t be easy, but McLaurin’s been knocking on the top five for years and now has a big-arm QB at his disposal.

You heard it here first: McLaurin will finish in the top five in the NFL in receiving yards this campaign. That includes all the NFC studs and AFC standouts like Tyreek Hill, Ja’Marr Chase, Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams, Brandin Cooks, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Tee Higgins and Diontae Johnson.
