The two veteran QBs the Commanders that I believe are not very capable of helping a team win are Jared Goff and Daniel Jones.

Jared Goff

Goff showed some flashes after being drafted by the Rams #1 overall in 2016, but his departure from the Rams opened the door for them to finally win a super bowl under Sean McVay. Goff, meanwhile, struggled without McVay’s excellent offensive scheme. He was one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL last year and the Commanders should have a good chance of picking up a road win in Detroit in week 2.

Daniel Jones

The other quarterback in this tier is Daniel Jones. I think I speak for all Commanders fans, and all non-Giants NFC East fans, when I say getting to play Daniel Jones twice a year is a gift. It is true that Daniel Jones has actually had some moderate success against the Commanders, but you can’t help but feel a sense of security that Daniel Jones will not be the reason your team loses a game that week.
