1. Justin Jefferson

Even though Pro Football Focus’ wide receiver rankings placed Jefferson outside of “Tier 1,” the Vikings superstar belongs in that group. Just two years into his career, the former LSU standout is a top-five player at the position.

Jefferson’s biggest concern coming out of college was his ability to win matchups in press-man coverage and it might actually be his calling card now. Per PFF, Jefferson’s 3.55 yards per route run against press-man ranks second in the NFL and his 21 catches of 15 or more yards is tied for first since he entered the league.

Jefferson will snatch your ankles (and soul) on routes if he catches a defensive back sleeping, so Fuller will have his work cut out for him. He’s also a menace with the ball in his hands, averaging 4.6 yards after the catch in 2021.

Since 2020 (the year he was drafted), Jefferson ranks first in the league in receiving yards (3,016), seventh in catches (296), second in yards per reception (15.4) and tied for eighth with 17 touchdown catches. He’s as well-rounded as they come and is years away from hitting his prime as he won’t turn 23 until June.

We’re just grateful the Eagles passed on him for Jalen Reagor two years ago. Imagine facing him twice a year? Best of luck to Fuller and Washington’s entire secondary when the Vikings come to town in Week 9 of next season.
