6. Scott Van Pelt

Everyone’s favorite SportsCenter host! And if he’s not, he should be! Van Pelt grew up in the greater DC area can be seen loudly supporting Washington Football and his beloved Maryland Terrapins on Twitter.

The solo anchor for SportsCenter’s midnight show, Van Pelt, like most Washington Football fans, SVP wants to see the franchise become respectable again, as he went viral back in 2019 following a four-minute rant detailing how dysfunctional the organization has become under Dan Snyder and former president Bruce Allen.

5. Taraji P. Henson

Henson’s Washington Football fandom has a unique backstory, as it apparently started when her father worked as a janitor for the organization. In terms of Henson’s acting career, she’s such a notable figure that the better question would be what she hasn’t appeared in compared to the other way around.

From “Empire,” “Person of Interest,” “Hidden Figures,” “Hustle & Flow” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” Henson is one of the most versatile actresses in the industry and has shown zero signs of slowing down.

4. Wale

If you’re into the hip hop and rap music scene, chances are you’re familiar with Wale’s work, as he’s a superstar in the industry.

Wale has watched Washington from a young age and some of his songs have featured references to the team’s former nickname and former quarterback Robert Griffin III. He even helped recruit DeSean Jackson to Ashburn during the 2013 offseason after the wideout left Philly. If that’s not dedication, then what is?
