Wide Receivers

WR1: Terry McLaurin, Cam Sims

Slot: Curtis Samuel, Dax Milne

WR2: Jahan Dotson, Dyami Brown

There’s a debate to be had whether Samuel or Dotson will assume slot duties, but they’ll likely form a rotation. The unit lacks depth behind the top three options. Expect Antonio Gandy-Golden, Kelvin Harmon, Marken Michel, Jequez Ezzard and Kyric McGowan to compete for spots on the practice squad.

Tight Ends

Starter: Logan Thomas

Backup: John Bates

Third-string: Cole Turner

Reserve option: Sammis Reyes

With Thomas likely to miss the start of the regular season as he recovers from ACL surgery, Bates and Turner are first in line for TE1 duties. Depending on how fast Turner picks up Scott Turner’s playbook, he could push Bates for the second pass-catching role behind Thomas. As for the fan favorite Reyes, he’ll likely serve on special teams while he continues learning the ins and outs of the game.

Offensive Line

Left tackle: Charles Leno, Cornelius Lucas, Saahdiq Charles

Left guard: Andrew Norwell, Saahdiq Charles

Center: Chase Roullier, Tyler Larsen, Keith Ismael

Right guard: Wes Schweitzer, Trai Turner, Chris Paul

Right tackle: Sam Cosmi, Cornelius Lucas

With solid backups and third-stringers at the most important positions, this is a deep unit and fans should expect another sublime season under offensive line guru John Matsko. With the LT, LG, C and RT spots locked up, Schweitzer and Turner could make for a fun competition at right guard during camp.
