Washington Reserve/Future Contracts continued

WR Antonio Gandy-Golden

Speaking of familiar faces, Gandy-Golden is back. This will be AGG’s third stint with Washington since the start of the preseason.

The 2020 fourth-rounder was cut at the roster deadline, then re-signed to the practice squad nearly a week later. He appeared five games (20 snaps) while failing to record a catch before he got released again prior to Week 17.

DT Tyler Clark

Clark was signed by the Bengals as a UDFA in 2020 and never made it past preseason cuts. Like many players signed to a reserve/future contract, the former Georgia Bulldog is still awaiting his first game action in the NFL.

G Nolan Laufenberg

Washington signed Laufenberg to the practice squad in September, so he’s a name that might ring in a bell. An Air Force alum, Laufenberg enjoyed quite the college career. By the time he graduated, he was was a preseason All-American and a two-time first-team all-Mountain West selection.

WR Marken Michel

Believe it or not, Michel joined the Panthers the year after Rivera was fired and hired by Washington in 2020. He appeared in two games that year before rejoining the Eagles this past August after he spent the entirety of 2020 on their practice squad.

Pretty interesting signing.

WR Kelvin Harmon

Another familiar face, Harmon bounced around Washington’s practice squad this season but never got promoted to the active roster. He enjoyed great success as a rookie, catching 30 passes for 365 yards as a sixth-round pick.

That, unfortunately, has been the peak of Harmon’s career thus far.

He missed all of his sophomore season with a knee injury and his career has stalled ever since. Always good to see him back in the DMV, though.

That’s the last of them. What does everyone think? Could we see one of these players as a regular member of the active roster next season?
