Week 11 Reality Checks: Washington at Carolina

2. The Reality Is, Heinicke and Turner have to remain on the same page.

Washington’s offense had impeccable balance, rhythm, and flow last week, especially in the first and fourth quarters. If Scott Turner and Taylor Heinicke are able to find and maintain that kind of rhythm again this week, it’s hard to believe Washington wouldn’t put up a good offensive output.

The ability to dial up and execute a variety of concepts, audible into better looks on the fly, and execute the calls with very few negative outcomes was quite impressive against a championship defense last Sunday. Can they manufacture a similar performance against the Panthers? Only time will tell, but whatever time tells will be telling…but that’s getting into talk about the future which I committed to staying away from for this week.
