1. Patrick Mahomes over 2.5 passing touchdowns (-115)
We desperately wanted to give a Washington player the No. 1 spot, but there simply wasn’t enough options. It was a Chiefs-dominated line this week, so we opted for potentially the safest bet in the book.
You can bet Mahomes to throw for more than two passing touchdowns at -115 odds, so bet $115 to win $100. The only problem with these types of wagers? You always run the risk of losing out on a goal-line rushing score or two.
With Mahomes, though, you typically know what you’re getting, especially this campaign since he’s been forced to throw even more often than usual (39 times per game) thanks to his defense.
The bottom line is that Mahomes has thrown for at least three touchdowns in all but one game this year. That came last week in Kansas City’s blowout loss to Buffalo, which was clearly an anomaly.
Again, if you want more incentive to make this bet, Washington has allowed opposing quarterbacks to toss four touchdowns in THREE consecutive games. The QBs in those games? Josh Allen, Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston.
Nothing more needs to be said. Make the bet and bask in the glory of your winnings by late Sunday afternoon.
