It’s looking like Curtis Samuel will be active for Sunday, which is a bit of a surprise after Ron Rivera seemed reluctant to activate him earlier in the week. Whether Samuel is heavily involved, however, remains to be seen.

Whatever the case, Samuel’s return should give Terry McLaurin more freedom. As evidenced by the first three weeks, McLaurin can dominate even while he’s double-teamed. With another dynamic wideout lining up alongside him, well, let’s just say that we feel sorry for the Falcons’ secondary.

We don’t fault would-be bettors who are scared off by McLaurin’s 75.5-yard total. That’d be a solid day’s work for any No. 1 WR. However, Scary Terry is a target machine (25 through three games, including 21 in the last two weeks) and Heinicke absolutely loves throwing his direction.

We’re not advocating you to wager your house or entire bank account on McLaurin to notch 76 or more receiving yards on Sunday, but we see nothing wrong with throwing a few hard-earned dollars on the bet.

McLaurin has been the heart and soul of Washington’s passing game thus far. Don’t miss out on the fun while you still can. Let’s ride!
