Who doesn’t love a good revenge game narrative?

A former fourth-round pick of Arizona back in 2014, Logan Thomas signed with the Bills in 2016 and remained with them through the 2018 campaign. Though his allegiance obviously lies with Washington, Buffalo should hold a special place in Thomas’ heart, as it was where he first got legitimate playing time at tight end.

However, the Bills decided to go in a different direction and Thomas eventually ended up in the nation’s capital, where he’s morphed into one of the more dynamic players at the tight end position.

Getting beyond the revenge game narrative, Thomas will be going up against a Bills linebacking corps that has struggled in coverage through two games. In fact, Matt Milano, who’s been near-perfect thus far (82.6 coverage grade) is the only member of that group who can hold a candle to Thomas right now.

Furthermore, Terry McLaurin could — emphasis on could — struggle to get open against Tre’Davious White, who’s one of the best lockdown corners in the NFL. That should create more targets for Thomas on Sunday.

Taking that into account, you should join us in backing Thomas to hit over 40.5 receiving yards against the Bills. At -115 odds (bet $115 to win $100), you get great value on a bet that could hit with time to spare.
