3. Washington Secondary Exposed

Kendall Fuller is typically one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL and a solid player for the Washington Football Team.  This was probably his worst game as a professional football player and his efforts (or lack thereof) on Sunday played a huge role in the loss to Los Angeles.

Yes, it is only one game and any player can have a bad game occasionally, but Fuller looked particularly vulnerable throughout the entire first half.  Eventually, he was benched.

Landon Collins was rarely on the field during obvious passing downs and when he was in the game, the impact was mostly benign or negative.  The grand total was two tackles and while he did deflect a couple of passes, including a key deflection in the end zone, the overall impact was minimal on Sunday.  For the price Washington is paying him each year, the former Alabama standout needs to put forth better games.

Bonus:  There is so much to talk about from Sunday’s game, but the release of sewage at FedEx Field is one of the stories that made the game day experience a nightmare for many fans.

Who is ready for that new stadium?
