Running Back (4): Antonio Gibson, J.D. McKissic, Peyton Barber, Jaret Patterson

Antonio Gibson returns for his second season as the undisputed starter at running back. He will see a healthy dose of action on the ground and through the air. Gibson is backed up again by J.D. McKissic, who saw 165 total touches in 2020.

When the initial 2020 roster was announced, four running backs made the final 53. One wouldn’t expect that to change going into 2021.

Jaret Patterson, an undrafted free agent from Buffalo, put up 70 yards of total offense on 14 touches against the Patriots. While preseason yards may be deceptive, Patterson showed enough top-end traits in both the run and pass game that should earn him the fourth running back spot.
