4. Adam Humphries

Some may believe this is a shocker, but Adam Humphries should make this roster and likely will make this roster.

With Curtis Samuel’s injury status up in the air, the Football Team will be without a true slot wideout on their roster. Humphries has spent the overwhelming majority of his career in the slot, with adequate results to show for it.

Dropping three or fewer passes in all but one season, as well as over 160 catches that went for first downs, Humphries can win on the inside, specifically on third-downs along with being a sure-handed pass-catcher that Washington could use.

Health hasn’t been on Humphries’s side recently, missing 13 games over the past two seasons, but he’s put together some of the best work of his career when catching passes from Ryan Fitzpatrick.

With Samuel’s health up in the air, coupled with the comradery he’s built with Washington’s newest signal-caller, it only makes sense that Humphries will make the 53 man roster.
