2. Curtis Samuel

Again, no surprise here. Curtis Samuel was Washington’s major wideout addition, signing a big time three-year contract this past offseason.

A dynamic option out in the slot, Samuel can be the game-breaking threat on the interior. He can also win on third downs, which is desperately needed for a Washington offense that’s been putrid on that crucial down for the last few seasons.

His versatility, age, speed, level of play and contract will all be factors in why the Football Team will keep him on the roster for this season and beyond.

Samuel’s currently battling groin injuries along with a recent battle against COVID-19, but make no mistake about it: the dual-threat weapon will make this roster and play at a high level from the moment he ties his cleats.
