No. 4 – Linebacker

2021 – Jon Bostic, Cole Holcomb, Jamin Davis

2020 – Jon Bostic, Cole Holcomb, Kevin Pierre-Lewis

While this ranking is lower than the others, the value first-round pick Jamin Davis can provide is off the charts.  However, he’s a rookie and he’s learning one of the tougher positions in the NFL with what is asked of modern LBs.

What does Davis have in his favor? Well, outside of impressive size and athleticism, he’s learning under two of the great teachers of the position, Ron Rivera and Jack Del Rio. These guys know linebackers and he was their guy, so that should be all the confidence he needs.

Rivera and Del Rio have a history of coaching up guys to produce. As a result, the bust potential for Davis is low.  Davis is walking into a great situation with quality coaches and arguably the best defensive front in football.  His transition should be easier then most.  His impact can help this defense become Super Bowl-caliber.
