2. New York Jets: Brigham Young QB Zach Wilson

I wouldn’t say it’s a one-hundred percent lock that the New York Jets pick up Zach Wilson, but it’s pretty close. Most reports have the Jets heavily leaning toward Wilson at this point. Sometimes the buzz is just misinformation, but there’s too much smoke billowing here for there not to be a fire right outside the door.

Is Zach Wilson worth the No. 2 pick? That’s a conversation that demands more attention toward Justin Fields. Fields is my personal QB2, and I think he’s much closer to Lawrence than he is to Wilson. However, Wilson is still a very good quarterback prospect as well. He has great arm talent and elasticity, and a natural feel for producing off-script. That will help him early on.
