2021 3-round NFL mock draft: Washington Football Team adds a QB
By Ian Cummings
17. Las Vegas Raiders: Oklahoma State OT Teven Jenkins
This pick just makes too much sense. After trading away Trent Brown, the Las Vegas Raiders, who are currently stuck in limbo under Jon Gruden, need a new starter at right tackle. The only natural right tackle in Round 1’s range is Oklahoma State bookend Teven Jenkins, and he brings a lot to the table beyond his natural fit.
Jenkins is an absolute mauler, and he might be one of the most physical offensive tackles in the class. He’s big, powerful, and tough to get around, and although his length isn’t elite, he supplements it with good knee bend, lateral mobility, and urgency as a blocker. Derek Carr needs a fully functioning offensive line. Jenkins helps to rebuild that unit.
