16. Arizona Cardinals: Kentucky CB Kelvin Joseph

This mock draft is somewhat predictive, with the 2021 NFL Draft being right on our doorstep. Thus, there are going to be a few reaches at positions of need. Kelvin Joseph isn’t even my second-best cornerback available at this point, but the Cardinals may like his versatility and athletic upside.

The Cardinals need help just about everywhere at cornerback. Byron Murphy hasn’t been as good as he was expected to be, and there’s nothing aside from him. Joseph needs to develop around his traits, but as it stands, he’s an aggressive player in both pass and run defense, and he’s very explosive and fluid for his size. I’d prefer Greg Newsome II or Caleb Farley, but teams’ rankings always vary.
