Washington Football Team Mock Draft: Lower-round trades only
Final Thoughts
Most trades that teams initiate occur later in the draft and that has been true for the Washington Football Team in recent seasons. It’s likely that a trade or two on day three of the draft will involve Washington at some point. Will the front office make any trades in the first two rounds? Our next mock draft will answer that question for you with an interesting trade or two.
In a recent article, we listed the many prospects that Washington has contacted this off-season and the Pro Days attended at various institutions. We promised there would be updates to that article if any new information was obtained and there is a minor update today.
Virtual Meetings via Zoom
- Payton Turner, Edge/OLB, Houston
Team Pro Days Attended
- Rice University (at the University of Houston Pro Day on April 9)
If there are any other meetings that Washington has planned, we’ll try to find out who it is and bring that information to you. Also, if any other Pro Days that Washington attended are discovered, we’ll list that in the next mock draft.
The 2021 NFL Draft is just over one week away. We’ll have a comprehensive look at the draft later this week or weekend. Only three mocks remaining from yours truly – the early round trades and two mock drafts (early next week) devoted to what we think the team will actually do for all three days.
It’s a sprint to the mock draft finish line and the Washington Football Team will soon be “on the clock”!
