Washington Football Team full first-round NFL mock draft: Two first-round picks

It’s unlikely that the Falcons trade out of a chance to add their next franchise quarterback, and it’s equally unlikely that they trade down 19 spots, all the way to the 23rd pick. But this exercise does bring up an interesting option for Atlanta. With Matt Ryan still in tow, they could feasibly run with him for another year, stockpile picks, trade back, and instead reinforce the line for his replacement.

Rashawn Slater is an excellent value pick at this stage. Slater has positional versatility across the entire line, and he also has elite functional athleticism, with which he easily traverses the field. His lack of length might relegate him to the interior in the NFL, but he could easily produce at multiple positions.
