Round 2, Pick 51

Hey, look at that, we’re back.

First on the agenda: Swat away that terrible trade-down offer from the Cleveland Browns like Mutombo. Next, list the available options. Remember, I went linebacker in Round 1, but maybe you didn’t. Your specific needs at this point depend on what you did.

Here are the best players still on the board:

  • Ohio State LB Baron Browning
  • Purdue WR Rondale Moore
  • Alabama LB Dylan Moses
  • Washington CB Elijah Molden
  • LSU LB Jabril Cox
  • Georgia CB Eric Stokes
  • Miami TE Brevin Jordan
  • Notre Dame OT Liam Eichenberg
  • North Dakota State OT Dillon Radunz
  • Florida State S Hamsah Nasirildeen
  • Oklahoma State WR Tylan Wallace
  • Kentucky CB Kelvin Joseph

So since I picked Zaven Collins in Round 1, I’m going to rule out Baron Browning, Dylan Moses, and Jabril Cox — as much as I like all of them as prospects. There are a lot of intriguing names here, but the guys that really speak to me are Rondale Moore, Elijah Molden, Kelvin Joseph, and Brevin Jordan.

Seeing that wide receiver is by far my top need remaining aside from quarterback, I’m just going to pull the trigger on Moore. He’s an elite athlete with insane run-after-catch ability, something that could fit extremely well in Scott Turner’s offense.

My Pick: Purdue WR Rondale Moore

Go ahead and make your pick, but be weary. The clock is still moving. Meanwhile, we’re jumping ahead to Round 3.
