Lower Tier

Chris Reed, Panthers

Yes, Chris Reed is another Panthers player who could find his way to Washington.  He is a versatile reserve and would add depth at both guard positions.  Reed was pressed into a starting role for a large portion of 2020 and was better than average in the 14 games that he started.

Germain Ifedi, Bears

Germain Ifedi is another lineman who has benefitted from moving to guard after entering the league as a tackle.  His time in Seattle at right tackle was not the sort of resume enhancement that one can consider an achievement.  The former first-rounder from Texas A&M used his time in Chicago to produce a solid 2020 for the Bears.

D.J. Fluker, Ravens

When in doubt, sign a former lineman from Alabama. All joking aside, D.J. Fluker would be a superb depth signing for the Washington Football Team.  The former first-round selection of the Chargers has bounced around the league since 2013 and will be with his fifth team in 2021.  Fluker has mostly been a right guard, but he can play both tackle positions and at left or right guard. Fluker would provide excellent depth.

Prediction:  Fluker may receive some attention from the Washington Football Team if he is not re-signed by the Ravens.
