Potential Washington Football Team free agent RB gems
Wayne Gallman, Giants
This one isn’t likely to happen as Gallman might prove to be pricier than Washington needs to spend on additional running backs. Gallman came up big for the Giants last year after Saquon Barkley and Devonta Freeman both suffered season-ending injuries.
Gallman started 10 games for the Giants and finished with a career-high 682 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns while adding 21 receptions for 114 yards. He led the team in yards from scrimmage and touchdowns and had the 10th most rushing yards after contact in the league.
He will most likely be re-signed by the Giants but if Washington is able to work out a low-cost deal for him, Gallman would be able to provide valuable insurance in case he ever had to start.
