51. . Director of College Scouting. Los Angeles Rams. Brad Holmes. 7. player

Brad Holmes is one of the hot names on the GM circuit this year. Just 41, Holmes has 18 years of experience in the Rams scouting department and he has done a lot of good for the team.

Though Sean McVay gets a lot of credit for what he has done in Los Angeles, the team has a good scouting department that has identified a number of undervalued players that have turned into strong options for the team. And Holmes deserves some of the credit for that.

As detailed by AJ Schulte of Pro Football Network, Holmes has played a role in adding talent and depth to the Rams squad.

"Holmes was instrumental in bringing superstars like Aaron Donald and Todd Gurley to the Rams through the draft and has presided over the draft process with Sean McVay, where the Rams have drafted several impact players like safeties John Johnson III, Taylor Rapp, and Cooper Kupp. Holmes also has a keen eye for undrafted targets, such as recent star Darious Williams and other players like Troy Hill and Morgan Fox."

The undrafted free agent success separates Holmes from some of the other candidates on this list, especially on the defensive side of the ball. But when looking at just a handful of the players he has brought aboard, that certainly looks appealing.

Holmes may well land a job before Washington completes their search. The team may also not be interested in adding another young-gun to their already well-stocked front office. They may be looking for more of a veteran, but even if that’s their goal, it shouldn’t stop them from looking at Holmes.
